Love, love, love the design these

I love these totes, along with the half-size version (#1936). They fit my garage shelf units (probably Sterilite, but I've had them so many years I cant be 100% sure.) 2 of these fit on a shelf, or 4 of the half-size units. They hold all kinds of storage - craft supplies, fabric for projects, pillows, blankets, seaonal decor, etc. I have to keep buying more because I give them away to my friends after they see how handy they are. They are getting harder and harder to find, I hope they aren't discontinued any time soon.

Dimensions are all too small

I bought the 50 quart shelf tote expecting the dimensioning to be accurate (I needed it to fit something in a specific height and orientation). However, it seems that with these totes the dimensions are consistently around an inch shorter than advertised. This has made it so I could not use the tote for its intended purpose. I performed my own measurements with a ruler and found the dimensions of the container to be 14 3/4" x 19" x 14 1/2" rather than the 15 1/12" x 19 7/8" x 14 3/4" advertised. I'm not sure where the dimensions noted on the product are obtained from, but it was frustrating not to be able to use the bin for its intended purpose.

The dimensions listed on our website and labels are the measurements taken from the widest points of the product, typically the lid or top, and include any protrusions such as latches. Inside bottom dimensions are smaller as the product tapers downward. This is the universal method for measuring housewares

Sturdy and Useful

Really like this tote. Have purchased a few of them as I need to store more and more items in my garage. Super sturdy and easy to see what is inside after filling. The lid is tight and keeps everything inside clean and fresh. Will certainly purchase again.

Fits my ventilated shelves. (other brand)

I went to the hardware store and found this shelf tote. I carried it over to the another brand's ventilated shelving unit and was able to fit two on each shelf: perfect fit. I had purchased several of the shelving units and was looking for uniform boxes. The other brand's totes for the same purpose were too complex as they had attached lids that fold into each other (no seal). This tote is simple and effective. I recommend purchasing 6 unit boxes
