Low quality covering makes for a lumpy hot bed

I purchased a Sterns and Foster Reserve Cal King in 2021 and it was the best bed I have ever had. When I recently moved, the movers damaged my mattress, so I went out and bought the exact same bed again. When the new bed arrived it was completely different than the 2021 model I had before. The covering material is some sort of polyester fabric that holds heat and makes for a sweaty uncomfortable sleep. It also allows your sheets to slide around on the mattress and not fit tightly. But, the worst part is the tufting on the mattress. It has very hard knots in the middle of the tufting. So the bed is lumpy with hard spots all over it. I tried to get used to the bed for about a month and finally gave up and returned it. Its a shame because the older version had none of these issues. It just seems the company went down on quality for the newer models materials. And, for a bed this expensive, that's not acceptable to me.
