Not pretty, smashed looking

When the roses arrived I was short on time. I didn't take them out of the box and look at them. I wrapped them and gave them as a gift. When they were opened they didn't look nice at all. They all looked crushed down on the top. Like the lid smashed them all flat. Not pretty.
