Shattered in many pieces
I had this item sent to me twice - the first one seemed to be packed well but came shattered in many, many pieces. I reordered it but warned customer service that they needed to change the packaging but they didn’t so the second order came shattered. I was very disappointed with my follow up call to customer service. They refused to send me another platter and now I’ve got to take this huge box with scattered platter to ups in order to get my refund. I can’t imagine that I’m the only one that has been experiencing this problem. They need to learn from their mistakes.

I have wanted the Spode Woodland collection for a long time, and I started my collection by going big with this gorgeous platter! It is absolutely perfect and I look forward to using for many holidays to come.
Grateful for a lovely piece
I lost my home in a fire, and replacing everything has been difficult. This was the first piece I bought that felt like I had an heirloom again. I’m grateful for the high quality items that are helping with starting all over. This was one of them. After two years of waiting for my home to be rebuilt this will be the centerpiece when I host Thanksgiving for my family.
Big Disapointment Poor Quality
After having to wait for nearly 3 months for this platter (on backorder) What a big disappointment. I knew that the platter would be made in China, which was fine. However the turkey & background is so washed out that it doesn't even closely match the dinner place settings or even the smaller platter (which was made in China and which I purchased from Macy's) BIG BIG disappointment. The red beard (waddle) of the turkey looks like someone just took their finger and painted in on, No detailing what so ever (just a big red smear) like on the dinner place settings and the smaller platter. I will be returning this back to Macy's. I don't understand how Spode cannot have the same quality for their transfer ware that they have for their made in England pieces and not be able to reproduce the same quality for the made in China Pieces., especially for what they charge for their made in china pieces. I will be looking for an older made in England platter of this size elsewhere.
