Yay for Christmas Tree Cake Plate.

Beautiful cake plate, though I'm a little puzzle as how the cake will stay in place with a non-flat cake plate; the plate is indeed a little convex so I'm a little worried when I'll put my cranberry tarts on it. The pie server is beautiful and feels right in my hand.

Spode Cake plate

I didn’t realize the plate is concave rather than flat. I would have liked a flat plate better. But it’s pretty and I will keep it.

serving knife bends easily

the plate is beautiful but the serving knift easily bends when you slice into a piece of cheesecake

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. As others stated, it is domed; which was not expected. Not sure why this is designed to be a cake plate; looks more like a lid. Will be returning, and continue the search for a truly flat cake plate. Must return this!

Strictly a Cake Plate!

This is a beautiful cake plate, but after picking it up I understand the poor reviews. It is STRICTLY a cake plate. It is slightly domed so it will not work as a serving plate for other dessert items such as cookies. There is no rim to prevent them from sliding off, so, sadly I will be returning the plate.
