Spirograph, The Original Spirograph can be a great set to have if your child is 8 or older. It can be challenging for an 8 year old and they can get impatient until they get the hang of it. Personally, I think the appropriate ages should be 9 years and up. However, it's entertaining and fun for the most part and I've known adults that use this Spirograph and it creates some awesome art. It's a classic for sure and very well made, just try to keep all of the different pieces in their places when done or else they are very easy to lose or misplace.

Fun for all ages in a neat little case.
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. At first my 8 year old was overwhelmed at how the pieces and parts of this set may work. Cue mom and dad coming to play too and a few teachable moments. We used this a few nights in a row and made some super cool looking designs. This makes a great gift for children with an artistic ability. We experimented with colors and sizes. My daughter thought it was fun that each hole on the Spirograph creates a different design.

Spirograph keeps getting better
Genius! The set even comes with pens for my daughter to make so many pictures. She has made one to send to her best friend many states a way for a Christmas card. The set has many spiral designs to try and it is an easy carrying case so my daughter can bring it on the plane for vacations. Good in the car as well. Always a great present for imagination and crafting

A Great Activity
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. We used this at the park, and it quickly became a focus of all of the kids there. While the adhesive tack helped keep the discs from slipping, they still required some practice to hold them down, with any slipping ruining the pattern. The paper provided allowed the pens to bleed through, especially for the smaller shapes, though the kit can be used with any paper, so this is not a real issue. I would definitely recoomend this as a gift, as all of the kids were asking their parents for their own sets as we were packing up.

Fun toy
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This Spirograph toy was difficult to understand how to use at first. My daughter who is 11 was really not able to get it to do what the examples show. She did have fun using it once she got the hang of it. It has a lot of different size pieces to make a variety of drawings. The carrying case is very convenient for storing. I would definitely buy this for a birthday or Christmas gift.

Great case and so fun.
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. We had a blast my granddaughter had never played with a Spirograph before,so exciting to see her face and watch her figure out all the cool designs she could make. Sturdy well thought out toy.The pieces make it fun to explore all different cool ways to play. It definitely held her attention oh and ours to. So nice not be on the screen and enjoy a good family nite

Hours of fun
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. We love Spirograph! My 8 year old grandson spent hours trying different designs. The carrying case is great and it makes it so easy to keep track of all of the pieces. The putty worked well. Even the adults had a good time reliving their childhood Spirograph experiences! My grandson was super excited to be able to take it home and “find more pens to do different colors!” Definitely a hit for us!

Retro STEAM fun for all
I received this product in exchange for an honest review. Our family was able to explore and play with Playmonster’s Spirograph deluxe set. This large set folds like a book, with an indented “desk” area on one half, and various wheels and other shape pieces in storage on the other side. The set comes with 3 color pens, paper and putty that does help keep the outer ring in pace while using. This set comes with two outer rings so that two artists can use the Spirograph set at the same time. The teeth number designation on the Wheels is a bit hard to see on the clear plastic. The pamphlet that comes with the set has extensive information on various shapes and setting to try for various design outcomes. If the user is patient they can determine which wheel, holes and starting position to recreate the design in the pamphlet. We followed the patterns in the pamphlet are were mostly successful in recreating the designs. Our older children and adults all enjoyed using the set. This can be a peaceful quiet activity where one can explore different design ideas and can also serve as a way explore different mathematic relationships, such as with the Reuleaux triangle wheel.
