Fabulous boots except too tight over the arch

I have wanted these boots for so long, and I finally bought them. And now my heart is broken, because they are so comfortable and stylish, except for the fact that right where the laces begin on the foot, they are too tight. I have low arches and have never had a problem with this in my life, but it's true. I read other reviews about this and I thought, well that won't happen to me. It did. I have average, medium width feet. Every other part of the shoe is super comfortable, so I would advise anybody to order these and at least try them on. They make you feel very stable, and they are waterproof like most of Sorel's shoes and boots. Honestly, if they fit you, you can't go wrong.

Needed a durable shoe for walking through snowy Providence to get to work. These do the job!

Perfect Heel Platform Ratio

63 years young and it’s a little challenging to find a comfortable heel to wear these days, although at 5’ nothing, it’s a must. These are extremely comfortable from the get go-literally all day wearable! Happening, fun and versatile (wide leg pants, leggings, skirts) and water resistant. Very happy with these boots.

Not sure why so much hate

Maybe the previous reviewers are not used to wearing heels. I love these and the traction in the snow.

Wanted to love, but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to love, but they are so tight in the middle and arch, very uncomfortable. Will continue the search. I’ve noticed Sorel boots in general are not as comfortable as they used to be, materials are also very heavy.

Narrow/Uncomfortable shoe

My husband brought me a pair similar to this last year, and they are quite narrow. The shoe is in my regular size, but I should have sized up a half size. I've only worn them twice, and I'm not able to where them. The sole is comfortable it's the width size of them that makes them uncomfortable. You can't wear socks with them. I wish I could get a bigger size, because I love them. But unfortunately I will have to give to someone who's foot is smaller. I hate that I've wasted money on these particular shoe.
