Not worth the money!

This bookcase is made of a composite wood with a very thin veneer and is about the same quality as the cabinets that we purchased for garage storage - only those cabinets were about half the price. Assembly was difficult. We are making this one work because returning it would be difficult and in the end, our books are on the shelf. However, I definitely would not buy this again.

Nice, good quality bookshelf

The bookshelf comes in two long, heavy boxes. It is easy to assemble if you follow the picture instructions. I recommend having two people working on the assembly. Carefully note the locations of the holes on the interior top and bottom pieces as the top has two extra holes near the center for attaching it to the "roof". This wasn't so clear in the pictures. The finished product is quite nice, but it seems like it wouldn't take much force to tip it over, so make sure you use the straps that comes with it to attach it to the wall. It is nice that there are options for the locations of the shelves. Overall, we are very pleased with the bookshelf.
