Broke in 18 months

Ours broke in 18 months (the lever will no longer stay in the 'toast position' ) and SMEG says it's out of warranty and refuses to fix it or replace it. Pretty horrible customer service for a premium brand.

Smeg Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster won’t last more than 1-2 years. Foolishly I bought another after my 1st one stopped working. Now newer toaster is only toasting one side of bread.

Very cute toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the white one and it’s very cute. It looks just like the pic. I was back and forth between colors bc I like them all but kept to white because I wanted to match with other pots and appliances other than stainless steel. I gave it one less star because they sent me what looks like a return or display model instead of a new one (bloomies tends to do this a lot and doesn’t have quality control). Also the chord was tied in a knot and shoved into the box. I’m not sure why anyone would do that but it’s now bent weird and won’t straighten out.
