Stinking and Unusable
It stinks like the feathers were taken off the goose the day before. DO NOT BUY.

Shell is NOT 100% Cotton
Description says cotton she'll but it is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. So it gets a bit uncomfortably warm for us since we are sensitive to synthetic materials. Unfortunately, I opened the package too late so can't return. I am so tired of false descriptions. Why don't Macy's check these descriptions?

Not Warm Not Winter weight at all
This comforter is cheap, thin, and very lightweight, contrary to its description.

Strong odor ruined the potential coziness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was super excited to receive the Heavy Warmth Comforter in full/queen, True North by Sleep Philosophy. It arrived vacuumed sealed in a cute cylindrical tote. Upon opening I was hit with a dirty pond or fish smell mixed with wet dog. I thought it was just me and kept unwrapping. Within minutes the duvet quickly fluffed up and seemed SO cozy. But the smell grew worse. I washed the duvet 5 times. Trying vinegar, washing soda, Lysol disinfectant detergent, Branch Basics (kills mold), and finally asked the internet for solutions. Then washed twice more with dawn dishwashing detergent—supposedly it cuts through the grease of down feathers, which is where the dirty smell originated. I thought I had resolved the smell issue, but after drying the duvet multiple times the smell slightly returned. I left the duvet in my room for a few hours and once reentering I immediately had a migraine from the strong odor. Despite having a medical grade air purifier running in my room. I wasn’t able to sleep under the duvet for obvious reasons, but will say the fabric seemed breathable, lightweight with enough down to stay warm. It washed well and dried even fluffier than it began. If not for the odor I think it would have been so cozy to snuggle under in colder months. I’ve had everything from down coats, duvets, pillows, and more, but have never had a product with this sort of scent. Nor one that caused such an allergic reaction. From reading about the scent, it seems the company did not correctly treat the feathers prior to making their product. For this, it’s an unusable product and I can’t recommend it to anyone, unfortunately. I was so looking forward to snuggling under this duvet all winter and am super disappointed.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you appreciated the breathable, lightweight feel of our comforter and how cozy it fluffed up to be. Its soft goose feather and down filling, combined with the classic box quilting, is thoughtfully designed to provide even warmth and comfort during the coldest months, making it a perfect addition to your winter bedding. We’re sorry to hear about the issue you encountered. Occasionally, vacuum-sealed packaging can trap natural odors from the down and feathers. To resolve this, we recommend airing the comforter out in a well-ventilated space or outdoors for a few hours, as fresh air can help dissipate any lingering scent. A mild fabric refresher or odor-eliminating spray after washing can also help freshen it up. We truly hope you’ll give our comforter another chance to provide the warmth and coziness it was designed for. We’re confident that its quality and comfort will enhance your winter nights, and we appreciate your honest review!

Thinner than I thought it would be
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comforter will provide some good warth but it's much thinner than I had imagined. I expected it to be very thick and fluffy. You can see the feathers in it as well. You'll need a duvet for it to hide that. I think it makes a good transitional weight comforter, giving you use in the spring and summer. You could use it during the winter but again you'll want to add a duvet.

Light comforter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a bit lighter than I thought it would be. It is compressed inside the package so you really have to fluff it up a lot to make it more fluffy. It wasn’t overly hot or heavy which is why I gave it 4 stars I was expecting it be be a bit more heavy. I would also put a duvet on top of it since it is very plain. It is a great base layer to have on the bed and I’m glad I was able to try it for free. I have seen others that seem a bit more heavy and fluffy.

Down the only way to embrace MN's Winter!
I've only had this down comforter for 5 days (nights have been wonderful!). Even my feet didn't stay cold and it "hugged" me all night long.

can’t sleep without it!
We’ve been sleeping with a cheap polyester comforter for too long I just couldn’t take it anymore. I’ve missed the fluffiness and comfort of a goose down so much that I finally decided to invest and treat ourselves with this premium comforter and it didn’t disappoint! This comforter is so light and keep you so warm like at the perfect temperature without being too heavy or making you uncomfortably hot! It improved the quality of our sleep so much that I will never buy crappy blankets ever again! Can’t sleep without it!
