Fabulous shoe but oh-so-short!!

This is a really great shoe with one big caveat. Like all D'Lites, it's much too short. I don't mean too small overall. The width is true to size, so I can't go bigger without the heel slipping. Just compare it with any other Skechers shoe, side by side. It's shorter. I don't have this issue with any other shoe -Sketchers or otherwise. But in any other way I love this shoe - so much so that I made a small cut in front to give my big toe a little room to wiggle. There's no other shoe that gives as much support as well as great cushioning while also having a stylish, attractive design. In other words, D'Lites are the very best and very worst sneakers/walking/running shoes I know of. I use them mostly for walking but also light running/jogging and love them. I may amputate my toe to fit, but otherwise all's great. ;-)

Would like to try on in store

I bought these for a trip that was canceled. I'm glad I didn't take these sneakers along without the chance to break them in. I wear an 8 1/2 and that's what I bought. They go on nice and easy but are a little snug in the toe area. I'm hoping that with wearing them on the weekends they will stretch. They're not uncomfortable but my toes are touching the tip of the shoe.
