Great boots

Very comfortable

Nice shoe, but….

Really wanted these for winter wear regarding traction and dry feet. I currently own many different styles of Skecher slip ons and they are super comfortable. Went with a size 11-1/2 even though I usually wear a size 11 due to reviews saying that they ran small. So why the 4 stars instead of 5. These shoes are very stiff. Now granted the bulk of the shoe is made of heavy rubber so I’m sure that has something to do with it. Also I have never had a shoe so tight across the top of my foot. Right where the rubber and leather meets. I’m afraid that I won’t be able to wear my heavier winter socks with them because they are so tight in this area. I have worn them to work a couple of days and they do seem to be softening a bit. Had the idea to rub some mink oil on the leather part and shove some clean rags balled up into the shoe at the tight area to see if it helps to stretch them out a little. That’s currently where it’s at. I want to give them a few more days sitting like that hoping it helps. Overall I really like the shoe but they’re just not as comfortable for the reasons mentioned as a regular pair of Skechers!
