Cord attachment

THIS item is not portable...it must be plugged in to operate. I wanted to use it in the car, but that is not possible. The cord limits its usefullness.

Terrible product

Terrible product from sharper image. It's just small plastic rods that move up and down. It pokes you and does not massage you. Terrible product.

Works great

I've injured my back years ago and I haven't found anything like this Sharper Image - Massager Realtouch Lumbar Acupressure Back massager that has been able to help until now. The little nodes on the massaging pads helps to get the feeling of a real massage and works out the discomfort and pain and the heat does a wonderful job at relaxing the hurt while it's being gently works out. Love my new massager, I highly recommend this

Comfortable Feeling

I've been using this massager for a few weeks and it has felt nice. The massaging "fingers" inside feel hard but are quite comfortable once application starts as long as they are lined up with muscle areas and not any bony areas. The added heat feature increases the comfort and helps my muscles relax. The strap does a nice job holding the unit in place on the back of a chair and can be moved to different heights. I have found that just 10 minutes is enough for me to get moving again.
