I am a vacuum

I am a vacuum junkie...I ask for them for my birthday, Christmas, mother's day, etc...My husband groans everytime I see a commercial for a new one. I LOVE this Shark Duo Clean vacuum. The rotating brush on the tip of the vacuum head picks up everything. The head comes off easily to allow for more of a canister type vacuum. The attachments are functional but not my favorite. The dust/debris canister goes on/off with ease and emptying it seamless. Like with all canister vacuums, the dust/debris tank gets yuckie but cleaning it and all the other parts takes 5 minutes. The suction is so strong that you need to make sure you keep it away from any cords, rugs, curtains...I've had other higher priced vacuums but this one is my all time favorite!

We've had this vacuum

We've had this vacuum for 2 months now and are absolutely in love with it. My only complaint is that it is heavy to lug up and down the stairs but that one negative does not outweigh the positives. The suction power is amazing. We were absolutely stunned by the amount of dirt out old vacuum left. It has a light at the end so you can see what you're doing or what you vacuuming. The clever liftaway portion is very helpful when cleaning the stairs. All in all it's a great investment and I highly recommend.

I love that this

I love that this vacuum has a self cleaning head, which helps so much with having three girls and two long haired dogs in our home. All of the other vacuums I have ever owned always got hair all wrapped around the head where it was not cleaning very well. This one rarely gets anything tangled on the head, and when it does. It is a breeze to clean off. I would highly recommend!

Great Vacuum!

I bought mine over 2 years ago and still works like a charm. I have used many other brands like Dyson but this Shark is by far way better!!!!!

I love this and think it’s amazing!! Gets dirt that others miss and super easy and light weight

Poor design

I bought this vacuum last February. I have used Shark for 17 years and was excited to get a new one. The excitement faded after using it about 5 times. The cord placement is at the bottom of the vacuum causing tripping and running over cord. I’ve had a stroke and have balance issues. The cord placement increased my falls, wrapping around my feet easily. The cord is also shorter than previous models I’ve owned. After the ninth use, the clip fell off the front of the canister. I could not fix it. So now I carefully I empty and replace the canister. It works good (not outstanding) with the dog hair. I’ve been saving for the Shark self emptying robotic vacuum, but am now hesitant.

Doesnt stand up to a Pet Pro

This is a great vacuum however my last vacuum was a lift away pet pro. I miss that vacuum so much! I was expecting this vacuum to be the same but it doesn't go under your furniture like the pet pro does.
