We all need a shark!
Shark has my heart when it comes to vacuums. My previous shark vac gave out on me after 6 years and I upgraded to this and it has such good cleaning capabilities! I’m a pet foster mom and have so much hair around my house always, but with this vacuum I never have to worry about it because it’s gonna clean it up no problem!

Powerful suction
Out of the box, easy to assemble with no tools required. Everything snaps together easily. I like that you can remove the lift-away canister to get the under couches and hard to reach areas. Also a nice feature for cleaning stairs. The hose extension along with the wand is just long enough to reach high up spots near the ceiling that needs cleaning. The floor setting control on the handle is helpful. Makes for easy quick adjusts from hard floors to carpet. Just below the floor setting control is the suction control. Min for less suction and Max for more suction. Wow for the max suction! While the Max setting is awesome at getting up that deep dirt, it does make the vacuum harder to push around. The advertised "no more hair wrap" was something that I was looking forward to since I have long hair and I own a medium haired cat. For the most part the self-cleaning brush roll does its job, however there was a small amount of hair that was wrapped around the brush after use. Thankfully it wasn't too hard to remove. The vacuum came with 3 attachments, but only one (dust crevice tool) attaches onboard for storage. The pet power brush is air driven and is super loud! It doesn't bother me, but I could see it being a problem to some. The tool was great for removing high traffic cat areas ie sunbathing spots on the carpet or pet beds. Picked up the hair with little to no problems. I say little because you have to go over it a couple times if there is a good amount of hair. Not a fan of the ball and socket clip attachment for the hose on the wand. It comes undone way too easy! I was having to reconnect it quite often. Maybe a stronger socket grip design would help? Emptying the canister is easy. Remove the dust cup by pressing the button on the the handle and hold it over the trash and press the release latch on the front of the canister. Overall a great vacuum, just could use some improvements.

Good suction power
Pretty good vaccum for a corded vacuum. Good suction power. Dragging the cord around is a pain yet it does clean pretty well. I would buy it again if the price was right

Works okay but dislike some design changes
We had one of the original Rotator vacuums and loved everything about it. Unfortunately it no longer works. Sadly, we can't use any of the attachments from the old vacuum for the new one. Also, the flanges on the main suction tube make it difficult to get into tight places and the power switch is different to operate (no positive on/off click). Still a very good product and works as advertised.

Great Vacuum
This is my 2nd Shark vacuum. I like it a lot. It’s a little heavier to push than my old one. I miss the low/high suction on my old vacuum, but getting used to having 3 floor type vacuum options on this one instead. Over all it’s a great vacuum.

Willing to try
There are a lot of features I like. Right height, easy to take apart, empties easily, powerful. Vacuums under furniture a big plus and has a brush/fin. Do not like it’s so HEAVY. Hose too short.. should be few inches longer. Bought because I did not want roller vacuum..too much maintenance. Because of COVID could not find another vacuum without dealing with returns. Decided to keep. I vacuum holding canister, too heavy to use as upright.

Cleans better than old shark.
Canister broke on our old shark, loved it so much had to buy another. This new one cleans better and self cleaning brush roll is fantastic!

New out of the box and it didn't work.
Vacuum worked good, but the steam cleaner didn't work at all. Followed and looked at the instructions to make sure I was doing it correctly and after determining I was, I determined the Shark Rotator Upright Vacuum with Powered Lift Away and Self-Cleaning Brushrooll, was NOT working correctly. I'm sending the unit back and getting a refund.
