Works like a charm but frequent maintenance needed

I’ve had this vacuum for three years now & I love how easily it cleans up dust, debris, and everything else in between. However, to keep it running to full power you need to clean/replace the filters and rollers every few months which of course comes at an additional cost. Good upkeep and care will keep this machine going for years.

Frustrating

This works but is very frustrating. We've had it for a year and a half and it works so much less than our previous Shark vacuum. It stopped working at one point and kicked back everything it had picked up. Then we worked on it a bit and the next day it worked. This does not makeup for the fact that it has never picked up things like our previous Shark. Very upset by this one and just an FYI it doesn't have a wood floor mode. Unhappy and would not recommend at all. Maybe the one I purchased was one off, because of all the good reviews. However due to my experience from the start I would not suggest it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in complete awe over this vacuum. First of all it picks up dog hair like no other vacuum I have ever owned. Second Of all I love that you can detach the main parts and just carry the little vacuum part and The attachments can still be used with it so I use it for my car never again will I have to pay to vacuum my car I'm in absolute love. So far it has picked up everything from space from spelled rice and dog hair to Glass and whatever I could find in my car. This is an amazing product and shark should be extremely proud of themselves definitely will recommend.

Love shark

This was an upgrade from the shark duo I had a few years back. The vacuum is awesome, did a great job. I don't care for the placement of the power button on the front of the vacuum rather than back where you hold it. The tool holder is chinsy and falls off quite a bit. For the cost, I think they could do a bit better with attachments and tools. The vacuum quality is good otherwise.

There are no words for how much I hate this vacuum. I am about to write to the president of Shark. What kind of company gives a product away and expects us to put credence in the reviews of those who received the free merchandise? I had a Shark Rocket for years that I loved and when it literally blew up with black smoke pouring out of it, I wanted another Shark. Sadly the Rocket doesn't come with a HEPA filter (why not?) so I chose this one with hesitation, but only to get the HEPA. The biggest issue I have is the fact that I can't turn off the rollers for hard floors and looped Berber carpet. I was able to do that with the Rocket and the Rocket is much cheaper. It's not well-balanced, the on/off button is poorly placed, and it's much harder to clean and empty than the Rocket. I want my Rocket back but with a HEPA filter.

Just bought this vacuum and love it... I like the fact that its slim so I can hide it in the small closet in living room to pull out easily to vacuum ... I vacuum a lot with a Golden retriever who sheds a lot and a beagle ...it has a ton of suction and picks up everything off the hardwoods and carpets ... I love the extra soft brushroll that grabs dirt, dust and hair from hard surfaces .. I would highly recommend

Incredible!!

This machine is amazing!!! We received it and immediately vacuumed the area rugs that were vacuumed 3 days ago and we had to empty the canister numerous times! We have 4 dogs and go out of our way to keep, what we thought, was a clean house! The suction is unbelievable!! I’m more than pleased with this purchase!

REALLY DOES THE JOB!!!

I researched before making the decision on the purchase of a new vacuum. I chose this one based on the specs as well as the reviews and could not be happier! I love everything about it! If you are a pet owner you will NOT be disappointed. The suction is as described. It’s lightweight and stores easily. The movement of the head covers every corner and baseboard. Very surprised at the quietness of the motor considering the high amperage…definitely a plus. I appreciate the extra perks added to my order….Everyone loves freebies! Thank you Shark for truly delivering what you advertise. You have a loyal customer in me!
