So far so good

A heated mattress pad is one of the best things we’ve done for our marriage. That said, the last one I bought from Macy’s was a Beauty Rest that lasted less than 2 years. Trying Serra to see if it lasts longer. It appears they may come from the same manufacturer, though.

replacement for older heated mattress pad

my first one lasted over 10 years I know I bought it at macys but don't remember the brand the only difference i see from this one and my older unit was that it had only 1 port to plug in the dual controllers the only issue was if you pulled the controller on 1 side the other side could fall onto the floor... this one has 2 ports to plug in the dual controllers...does the job and really warms the bed, its feels more intense then my last one but could be just because its new...also Calking deep pocket mattress was perfect fit

Could be better

The pad heats up very quickly. But it also gets very uncomfortably hot during the night if kept on, even at lowest setting. Worst: the number setting is only illuminated for 3 seconds, then turns off. So, during the night, you can't see where it's been set. VERY annoying & inconvenient!

Much better than a heated blanket!

The mattress pad is wonderful. The bed is warm when I get in it and stays warm. I like the pad because it doesn't move around and can't be pulled off like a blanket could.

Too thin - wires are uncomfortable

This is way too thin - which makes the warming wires feel like uncomfortable lumps in the mattress. The backing is slick so the mattress pad actually slipped off the mattress. Missed the return date by 2 days because I didn't open until the weather got cold.
