so far, so good!

So far, so good. Two weeks in. I needed a more firm mattress for my back and decided to go with a Sealy again. I went too soft, and the mattress lost its luster after four years. Hoping this will last longer. People complain it's too firm. That is not the case with me. I am in my 50s and have an active lifestyle and a medium build.I have mild back issues. I was waking up stiff and soar with the old mattress. I haven't with this mattress. I like how deep it is too!

Very comfortable firm California King mattress

We've had our California king size bed for about a month now and I can report that from day one it is super comfortable. I would say it is on the firm side of mattresses and it is also an extremely deep mattress so make sure your sheets are going to fit. Lastly, it is also very heavy so when you have to go to lift the sheets for the corners make sure you've got some help. The delivery guys did a great job getting the old mattress out and hauling that gigantic beast up our stairway!

Sadly, more uncomfortable and more pain than before.

I loved the idea of the cooling feature of this mattress. Unfortunately to have the 10 year warranty you have to purchase a mattress encasement which covers the entire mattress. This defeats the cooling part of the mattress. My husband and I both wake up with back, hip and leg pain worse than with our old mattress. Laying on the back, side or stomach doesn't make a difference, some body part is going to hurt. I wake up during the night with my hip hurting and have to get up for a while. I really wish I didn't have the delivery people take our old mattress away.
