Dinosaurs: tyrannosaurus rex - red - the king of the dinosaurs was once one of the largest land predators. It could grow to be up to thirteen meters in length and seven meters high. Given its size and mass, the t-rex was probably not a hunter, but more likely a scavenger.

A Must for your child

I grew up loving this brand of dinosaurs and knew they were a must for my child as well! They are so detailed and put any other models to shame. Child loves red so this has been the best toy and knowing it will last is just a bonus. If you are on the fence, get this toy, your child is sure to love it!

T-REX Terrific

Red, blue, green, black or gold Tyrannosaurus Rex figurines are cool. With arms too small to reach their mouths they fed on Velocirators left overs. I love the gold one but the other four colors are not far behind.

Purchased this for grandson, age 5, as reward for good behavior as he "learns to share" with younger brother, nearing age two. As with with all figures in this collection, the Red T-Rex is sturdy, well-designed & beautifully painted. We were especially delighted when we first opened the packing box and the youngest boy said "dinosaur roar." This was the first time he uttered a two-word sentence! The older boy was over-joyed to discover the figure's articulated jaw and was quick to point out how detailed the mouth cavity is displaying gums, teeth and tongue. The older boy enjoys sharing his dinosaur knowledge with his younger brother and his parents love these teachable moments.

My son is obsessed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves all things dinosaurs and he is obsessed with this Tyrannosaurus rex aka "rexie". He literally takes it everywhere and sleeps with it at night. It's very well made and it's made to last. It holds up well it all kind of rough play. My son loves to take it all kinds of adventures.

Amazing quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my younger children (five year old male and three year old female) love playing with dinosaurs, and especially love playing with this Tyrannosaurus rex, from Schleich. I'm actually going to have to get another one of these, so the two stop fighting over this one. My daughters favorite thing about this t-rex is that it's mouth opens and shuts and my son loves it because of it's size and he says, "it's cool." While the price does seem kind of high, the quality is very good!
