Nutcrackers are a classic addition to your Christmas décor collection. Sadly, nutcrackers do not store well. In containers with other items or nutcrackers, the fragile pieces easily break off from rubbing and bumping together. After a few years of packing nutcrackers away, the bottom of your storage container will have a layer of loose buttons, hats, and noses. The Red Nutcracker Suite

I would have given the bag a 5; however, I have to make one recommendation. The bag is a durable canvas-like material - also has a place to write a label. Love the cord, black handles which makes this easy to lift. The only recommendation I would suggest is to have snaps/velcro, or something similar to secure the top around the edges of the storage box. Some might have to put the box on its side and forget by Christmas that it is not secured. It definitely helps in keeping the special Christmas items protected.

Nice sturdy storage

Great storage for a standard size nutcracker. Will fit wider ones also as long as you remove the cardboard dividers

Not Tall enough or Wide enough

I bought this when I bought 5 nutcrackers. only 2 of them were short enough to actually to close the lid. I didn't put them in it the holes are too snug would rub off a lot of the paint & sparkle. I did end up using it to store ornament I have hundreds. It was fine for that. Delicate as the nutcrackers are I decided to keep them in their original boxes and store them in a huge tub. This way they will stay in original condition

Much needed storage

The boxes themselves are beautiful , sturdy and strong. However "standard" size nutcrackers are too tall too fit in them ! I could fit some smaller ones in but they need to be at least another eight inches tall.
