Bad Odor

Beautiful furniture. However, horrific smell/odor which my clothes are now absorbing. I opened all the drawers and kept bedroom window open for two days in an attempt to air the dresser out. It didn't work. Very sad and disappointed because the furniture looks beautiful. I am hoping to be able to exchange this set for something else.

Beware of Off Gassing

I bought a full king set back in May. The bureau has been off gassing very badly for the past six weeks. I have used my air conditioner, put fans on the bureau, used baking soda in the drawers. I've had to wash my clothes because they smell terrible...chemical smell. I'm calling to see what Macy's can do. like as in a return. VOC'S can cause health issues including cancer. very very disappointed.

Think twice...

I bought 2 bedroom sets. Every dresser and night stand drawer emits a horrible chemical smell. I cannot put clothing in them. I have tried everything to get rid of the smell, every odor remover known to man. I have had them for 6 months. I keep the empty drawers open all day and shut them at night so that we can sleep without being gased out. Nothing is working.

Still giving off chemical smell eight weeks later.

Two stars for the pretty design and color. ONLY two stars as the quality is fair to good, not great (the sale price is the right price for this), it came with a minor flaw in the finish of the paint on the top, and a horrible chemical smell (VOCs?) that the dresser continues to give off after almost eight weeks. The drawers are on the floor, and I run the air conditioner every day. My daughter is camping out in another room as I am concerned for her health. Be prepared to air it out in a well-ventilated room before it goes in a bedroom.

This item looks way better than advertised. I now had the whole set & am very happy with this purchase. Plenty of drawers & places to store everything. Great buy.

Using as console for TV with storage

My Sanibel dresser was delivered to my home in excellent condition and I was happy to get it only a few weeks after ordering. The drawers glide smoothly and it is beautiful.

Delays

We went with this furniture for our nursery because we knew it would last. Based on the floor model, it looked sturdy and well built. We've been waiting for 7 months now and the baby was born in October. The set keeps going on sale, but we have no word on when it’ll be in the warehouse. It continuously gets another date, but no word from the vendor. Very disappointed.
