Nice backpack but disappointing quality

I really like this backpack for its generous size and key features: strap for a suitcase handle, side pockets for drinks; several outer pockets for small items (though I wish it had compression straps - the only thing it is missing). However I am disappointed at the quality. My previous backpack (from a different company) lasted for many years. This is not very old but out of warranty, and the zipper on one of the compartments broke. The teeth just pulled out from the tape so it can't be repaired. Bummer.

This is not a 17" laptop bag

Buyer beware. 4 years ago, this may have fit a 17" laptop. Not today. I returned mine 15 minutes after UPS dropped it off. My new 17" Legion did not fit. I have read other brands don't either.

Recommend this for school or business

I use this backpack for business. Its replacing my old 1 that I had for 5 years. So far I like it. It's big enough to carry everything I need. The lines pocket for my tablet really is nice
