Luggage is Great/Picking it Up, Confusing

The luggage purchased is great. I went to the Clackamas store to pick it up and wasn't given proper instructions as to where. Ended up going to the incorrect place and then had to walk to another Macy's store (further from my parked car) to finally get it. Carrying 2 pieces of luggage to my car would have been cumbersome and luckily, the salesperson allowed me leave it at her desk until I drove my car all around the outside of the mall to pick it up. Process was confusing and annoying....

ICK!

I bought the light blue version of this bag. It t looked filthy after a single flight. By the time I finished the trip, 4 flights in all, the bag was disgusting. Samsonite will give you information on how to clean the bag, but if you buy this color, it will only look clean until you hand it over to an airline. So it will look nice in the Uber on the way to the first flight. Or you could just save the bag for road trips. The soft bags I’ve had in the past were darker, maybe they all were this gross and I couldn’t see it. Or maybe this fabric is particularly sticky for filth.

Beyond disappointed

It's been a little over 22 days since I wrote about what happened with the suitcase I bought. On the very first trip I used it, the main zipper stopped working. I wrote a review and got excited because it said the Samsonite team would reach out to me — but they haven’t. I don’t know if they just say that to look good in front of people reading the reviews.

Great lightweight suitcase!

Purchased the medium Samsonite AirLift during a sale at Macy's and couldn't be happier! Just got back from a trip to three countries in Europe with an UNDERweight bag. Everything fit in a single bag with no overage fees! Hoping another sale is on the horizon so we can replace all of our old, heavy suitcases with lighter options.
