Pretty but way too big

This is a very pretty belt and looks to be of good quality. What baffles me is why it's so huge on me. I'm not a tiny person: I weigh 125 lbs and my waist measures 28.5", so a Small (=size 4-6) should fit me. But unless I put it on wrong, there's no way to make this belt snug around my waist - not even close. Such a shame - I was really hoping this would work on me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to style this belt with a cute pair of skinny jeans and heels. It's adjustable and fits comfortably around my waist. I love the black with the gold look. You can wear this belt to a dressy event or on a casual jean day at work. Whatever outfit you pick, this belt will dress it up.
