Sizing is off

Very good quality but the sizing is WAY off! I ordered this shoe for my 11 year old daughter. I measured her foot, and according to the size guide for this shoe, I ordered a size 5. I fit this shoe and I wear a women's 8.5 ...crazy. I came back to the site to verify the purchase and it does indicate that it's a child's shoe. It also indicates this on the box
