Best shoes

Love these shoes! They fit well and are durable and comfortable. They stand up to the chlorine and to the daily machine washing to rid them of the chlorine. Great color selection.

Great for water aerobics

So pleased with my Rykas . I teach water aerobics from the deck, and there’s often water splashing up on the floor. Shoes are comfortable, allow me to move and jump as I teach. I’ve also worn them in the pool with no issues.

Comfortable but flawed

I have problem feet (high arches, high instep, plantar fasciitis) yet these feel comfortable thru my water aerobics class. However, the laces are extremely long. There's a toggle fastener, but there's enough loose laces to tie them like a regular shoe after you've used the toggle. A shoe doesn't stay tied in the pool, so I've created a chain of knots (sort of like a braid) and tuck the excess through the laces in the front, and then back towards the toggle, because even knotted, there's enough excess length to go all the way to my toes and back again. Despite noting the poor design of the laces, I kept these shoes because my old water shoes were disintegrating and I needed to replace them immediately. Unfortunately, I wish I'd returned them. The toggle doesn't stay snug causing the shoes o loosen while wearing them. Also, they take forever to dry out. I come remove the insoles and let the shoes air dry and they are not dry 24 hours later for my next class. I wouldn't buy again!
