Damaged item.
The item was damaged - broken. I contacted Macy's customer service at 800-289-6229 on 11/24/2024. I was informed that I would receive a replacement. I called again on 11/30/2024 and was told that a replacement is not available. I was not notified that there is no replacement, and I now need to locate the item elsewhere in time for Christmas.
Family tradition
I chose this item for a baby shower and it was delivered from the manufacturer. I wish I could have had it wrapped as a gift. My four children each had a different set of bunnykins which we used every day. It is a family tradition.
Beware arrives broken
I ordered 2 sets and the bowls in both arrived broken. I called Macy’s customer service and was told do not send china back, they’ll issue me a refund in form of gift card and they’d order me a new set. However none of that happened. I called customer service again & checked on the status of delivery of the new set a week later (it was going to be expedited they said so would only take 2-3 business days) but there was no new order placed! During that time I did get the gift card “refund” in the mail. Then I got two emails from Macy’s saying my items had not been returned yet! I had seen the other reviews saying their items arrived broken but I thought surely Macy’s has gotten better about how they pack the items. But no, the bowl in both boxes is not secured and so not surprisingly it broke. The customer service was absolutely horrible on the second phone call and apparently was also on the first phone call since they didn’t reorder the items like they said they would and they told me I didn’t need to return the items however Macy’s sent emails saying the items needed to be returned. So don’t waste your time ordering this from Macy’s. I ordered directly from the Royal Doulton site and both china sets arrived beautifully and not broken. However Macy’s left me on the hook for the baby shower I was attending and I didn’t have a complete set to give. I gave just the plate & cup and told the mother-to-be the bowl was arriving separately. Now I’ve changed out the whole set with her when I received the Royal Doulton set. If I could give zero stars I would! Product and customer service were both poor!!
Broken
Similar to previous reviews, mine arrived broken. Customer service was helpful but the quality is definitely questionable.
Extremely Disappointed
The package arrived and as soon as I pick up the box there was noise indicating something was loose or broken. I opened the box; it was very poorly packed, and the bowel was broken in half. I called the 1-800 number for customer service and spoke to an offshore team member, who executed a refund and a replacement item. I revied a notice that the refund was being processed, but no word on the replacement item. I was asked if I wanted a refund or a replacement item and asked if I needed to return the item I received. I was told no as it was already broken. What was also irritating is that if I did not do a Google search for Macy's customer service phone number, I would still be fighting with the computer customer service which was less than desirable.
