Faulty steam generation
This is our second steam generator in a few years. Both suffered from same issue - steam works intermittently...almost like there is a short in the system.

I have a dud.
My daughter gave me this as aChristmas gift. It worked well for a year & then it stopped working & I have been unable to get through to the customer care center. I cannot get the iron to give any steam. There is no Rowenta repair service in my area. I have done all the procedures the Manual recommended. Nothing works.

Necessary Part not available
I have had this iron for a couple of years and have no complaint with it’s performance. However, the dial that indicates the temperature range is painted on and quickly wore off. I have attempted to replace this part but it seems to be unavailable so I am ironing a bit blind and others in the family are afraid to use it because they can’t gauge the temperature range.

Leaked and ruined my cutting table.
I purchased this iron in May 2020, it is now only 16mothls later. This morning my cutting table was soaked and warped. The generator base is leaking. It won't hold water...

Not worth the price
For the price I expected this steam station to last a while. After a few months steam started coming out of the base and it basically stopped working. They have zero customer service . It’s not worth the price. Don’t buy this steam station.

Perfect Steam Station -DG8520 - DON'T BUY - NOT worth the money
I bought this iron to replace an older model from Rowenta. This one is absolutely NOT worth what I paid for it. It constantly dribbles water on ALL my items that I am trying to press and leaves my ironing board soaking wet! And when it pumps water it just pours out of the holes on the bottom when it if full. IT IS NOT OVERFILLED! Not acceptable! Also, the on/off timer is awful. Per the instructions it goes off after 8 minutes of non use. NOT ACCEPTABLE. You can barely sew a couple of seams before it turns off and then you have to wait 5 minutes for it to get hot again before you can use it. Or you have to turn it off and on again to get it to reset. I can see 15 minutes for the on/off, but NOT 8 minutes. UNACCEPTABLE. Also, when steaming, when you put the iron back on the holder, it keeps on steaming even when your not using it.
