Silky Lipstick Shine is inspired by the luster of Hermès silk. Like a veil of color and shine, this new lipstick enhances the lips with subtle color of buildable intensity to create the desired level of coverage. Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty, has created a palette of sensual beiges, vibrant reds and subtle pinks. The hybrid makeup and lip-care formula provides comfort and hydration from the moment it is applied. Formulated with oils and butters, it also contains active ingredients that care for the lips, including hydrating and plumping raspberry leaf extract, smoothing and softening sesame seed extract, nourishing and protecting Abyssinian oil and white mulberry. The scent, created by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel, combines delicate arnica, sandalwood and angelica. Pierre Hardy has designed an object with slender lines and a lacquered and brushed metal finish. Its cap is engraved with the Hermès ex-libris. It is protected by a Rouge H canvas pouch and nestled in an orange box. Silky Lipstick Shine is refillable. Only the lipstick bullet itself will need replacing. Refills are sold separately.

Luxury personified through color payoff and the lipstick , I wouldn’t expect any less from Hermes. From the iconic orange packaging to the sleekness of the lipstick bullet, the shade is beautiful but you can build it up in intensity with layering.

Shine lipstick

The packaging of this product is gorgeous. It feels so luxurious. The shade I go is a beautiful red with a hint of orange to it. It is very pigmented for a shine lipstick. It feels great on my lips. So luxurious

It has the most perfect sheen and translucency to it and it glides on your lips so perfectly I couldn’t be more obsessed. For day time I like to just dab it on for a little pop of color and then at night I’ll do a full swipe application. Also in true Hermes form the packaging it absolutely stunning.

This lipstick is absolutely beautiful and screams luxe in every way possible. Everything from the outer packaging to the tube itself to the smell. It was fun to open and even more fun to apply and wear. The color is your perfect neutral toned red that makes your teeth look white. Very cute and I wouldn’t mind having more colors!
