Designed by Pierre Hardy, the polished and brushed, lacquered metal object is protected by a canvas bag and slipped inside a small orange box. Its design creates tension between the maison's contemporary spirit and its history told by the Ex-Libris. Rouge Hermès is refillable. It is made from high-quality materials to ensure it lasts. Only the lipstick bullet is temporary. Refills are sold separately.

Treat yourself

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m loving these lipsticks! Each time I try a new color I know I’m treating myself to something special. I’ve tried the matte, satin, lip enhancer balm and shiny formulas and the colors/undertones are all nice on my complexion (medium brown skin). The balm feels best but there’s not much color, it’s ok for me. The matte is more drying than I expected so I use a lip primer first. The colors last about the same as other luxury brands. But the packaging and limited edition colors are what’s extra special.
