I am a big fan of Roku - an "early adoptor" from way back. I've upgraded remotes several times. But no headphone capability is a deal killer for this remote.. End of story.

Poor battery life!
Love the remotes functionality but hate the battery life as I only get up to 2 weeks on a full charge. Don't use voice commands and have the hands-free switch set to off. IMHO the issue is the backlighting comes on all the time even if you just move the remote. Would make more sense to have the switch control the backlighting instead of hand-free voice commands as there is a button to use voice commands already.

The new one suck.
The new control have light on the buttons n that waste alot of battery,the control frezzes n dont want to work,i never buying the second gen pf pro control the old one is better.

"Soft buttons" are terrible.
After a couple of years, finally giving up on mashing buttons on this remote instead of simple tapping. Ditching this Voice Remote Pro and digging out my original Roku remote. Thought I'd order a new one but concerned they're all "soft buttons" now.

Love, Love, Love this Remote
I don't know what took me so long to get one of these but when I saw it on sale I could resist no longer. Most importantly for me at first were the backlit buttons. We watch a lot in the evenings and finding the right button in dim light was a chore. Now it's a piece of cake. Then I learned about the remote finder function and it is also a great feature. Either the wife or I are leaving the remote somewhere the other doesn't know and finding the remote now is so easy. The last thing we're still learning to do is using the voice command feature. How cool can a remote get? We can turn on TV, set the channel we want, pause video, resume, mute and much more without even touching the remote. After a week with the new remote I can say without reservation that there isn't a thing I don't like about it. I didn't say before that setting it up to work on my TCL ROKU TV was as simple as restarting the TV and pressing two buttons. nothing else. Volume and power all worked right away. Excellent product!

Nearly Perfect
Pros: -Backlight keys are brilliant -Longer battery life -Rocket button for custom shortcuts Cons: -No 3.5mm headphone jack. It's wireless 'phones only now. This is a deal breaker for me, but if you can live with that, this is a clear improvement over the Roku 1st edition Pro Remote.

Love the back lit feature
Even after pairing, the voice remote only works one time and then nothing. I have tried everything. Disappointed!!! and the remote finder does not work at all

Finally a Backlit Remote That Does it All
This paired so quickly and easily with our television, we bought a second one. Absolutely love the backlit feature, and the ability to adjust the volume. Have not used the voice, but am sure it would come in handy. Highly recommend.
