This camera is great! It has a bright light that turns on as soon as anything comes within a certain amount of feet that set the perimeters to. It does well in all weather types and was super easy to mount! The app is great. It even allows me to set off the siren manually if I wanted to. Best decision I ever made!

Great features!

Another great option to add
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new model is another great option to add to the system of ring cams around the house. This one is great to have because virtually all house spotlights with or without a camera are hardwired. This one is battery operated so it opens up so many more options on where you can use it. It's great that you can just change out the battery pack with another charged up one instead of having to take the whole camera down to recharge or putting Alkaline batteries in it. The video quality and spotlight options are great like any Ring cam but the portability is the selling point for me.

Love the extra protection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have both the ring door bell for our front door and now this spotlight cam for our backyard. We love being able to check in when we’re at work or away from home. Our backyard is open and we’ve had problems with people coming into our yard. Thankfully we had a place to put our camera already as our houses previous owner had a different camera up. Instillation and set up was a breeze. We love that is has a light that pops on when it detects motion and that we can talk through it and set off an alarm. It adds a level of safety that we really appreciate. The camera sees a very wide area so our entire yard can be seen (though at night we can’t see the back half since we have an acre, which is fine with us). The quality is okay but do wish is was a little better. Any movement makes the object a bit blurry and sometimes can be hard to tell what it is. Does okay with people. The settings are completely customizable to your preferences which is extremely helpful. Overall love this camera!

Great Spotlight Camera

Great product!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in the country and wanted to keep an eye on the animals at night. After a lot of research, this spotlight cam from Ring seemed to be the best one for us. Installation was fairly quick and we have been impressed with the quality of the pictures we have seen. Plus, the motion light seems to scare off the random critters that wander through the yard and the rechargeable batteries are a huge bonus! All in all, this is a quality camera that we would definitely purchase again!
