Trying out

This replaces a PR1320 I have had for more than a year and which had poor runtime and horrendous power management. I had attempted to buy a SKU: PR1260BXLP R5 Lithium Power Series Rotary Shaver - a dry shaver, which I have found, work better, have mor RPM, than Wet ones. Plus, the PR1260 could be used "cord/cordless". I did not notice the fine print at the bottom of the page saying it is unavailable, so I now have this. So far, it is working. I will see, as the blades wear down.

R5000 Shaver ok, doesn't meet all expectactions

The shaver grip is triangular shaped and is more difficult to grip at any angle. The shaver does not last 60 minutes for a single charge as stated in the user guide. It is significantly less.

Not as good as I had hoped.

Trying to find razor that gives me a close shave like my old R950. This R500 does a better job than my last razor (R400), but like that razor it does provide a fast/close shave the old R950 still does!

A review

I haven't used this razor only once it did a good job. Maybe a bit better then my old Remington AQ7 which this was to replace as my old one wouldn't take a good charge. While I was waiting for the new one I cleaned the contacts in the charger base and disconnected and reconnected all the connections and now it's charging again so I'm still using the old one when it starts pulling and needing a new head I'll clean it up change the head and put it away as aspare and start using the new one.

R5000 Series Rotary Shaver Review

This product offers great value for the price in my opinion. The shaver is light and provides a smooth and comfortable shave. The titanium coated blades last a long time. I also had a previous model that lasted over five years. The charging station that is sold separately doesn't fit the shaver for charging purposes so I wouldn't purchase it unless you just want a stand for the shaver.

Good Shaver at a fair price.

I Like everything about, except it is under powered, the blades turn slow and it takes longer to get a close shave than my old Norelco I used to use. Everything else is fine. The cost was fair price for what I received.
