Product Details
Web ID: 22181Simple and Elegant!
I purchased 12 sets of this flatware in the mid 80's and I absolutely love it. We use it daily to this day and it still looks like the first day I purchased it 40 years ago! Simple and elegant. I highly recommend it.

Prefer to do business with a trusted company
I needed to replace a couple of lost pieces in my flatware set. I found my pattern online at several unknown sources but was happy to find it at Macy's which I knew to be a trusted company and not an online ripoff. The pieces arrived in a few days and it's good to know where to go if I need more.

Lovely flatware
This is the pattern I originally chose for my bridal registry. I keep adding place setting at least once a year so we have enough for everyone. No plastic ware here for Thanksgiving. I just purchased 6 more sets to make 36 total. They feel solid, wash up well in the sink or dishwasher. I do have a Reed & Barton silver chest that I keep them in when not using them. I think they are pretty without being too fancy. Lots of compliments on my place settings too. Comfortable to use and I really do love them.

Lovely pattern and quality still seems high
I recently bought a place setting of this pattern elsewhere just to have something different, plus a few tall drink spoons for a gift and one for myself. (I'm a bit of a flatware geek.) While now made in Vietnam of 18/10 stainless, the quality still seems very high so far and the knives still have the very nice hollow `18/10 handles. Good heavy weight, size, and balance; sturdy and truly dishwasher safe. ..... The classic lightly accented patterns of flatware are hard to find and Country French is beautiful without being too ornate. I expect this will last as well as my also beautiful older set of Oneida Community 18/8 stainless that has been used daily and washed in the dishwasher for decades, which I will also continue to use. ..... Lenox now owns both Reed & Barton and Oneida, and their higher-end flatware is now made in Vietnam. I'm glad that several of the classic patterns from the past are still available although you have to search for some accessory pieces.

Beautiful flatware
I registered for this set for my 2012 wedding so much of my collection is over 10 years old. These have held up great! I’m an avid dishwasher user and hate handwashing dishes so these have seen hundreds of trips thru. I still love this classic pattern too.

Great Set
I purchased a 12 place setting Country French set 53 ago in Japan. It is our everyday utensils since 1970. Over 1000 times in the dishwasher and they still look great. Thanks Reed and Barton for making a quality set that will last a lifetime (and beyond).
