This book is incredibly good and I couldn’t put it down. Every night I would read the book and couldn’t wait to read it the next day. Such an amazing love story. I will probably read it again at some point.

Easily a Favorite
It took no time at all for this to become a favorite of mine. The characters were lovable, relatable, and had a ton of growth. It was atmospheric without being overly wordy. There were tons of mishaps, funny moments, and tears. Read. Please.

Love Is Love
Alex is the First Son of the United States of America. Henry is the Prince of Wales. They cannot stand each other's company, but now they have to pretend to be good friends. This is going to be horrible...isn't it? I mean, it's supposed to be horrible when you have nothing in common and Henry is SO "Prince Charming", right?? So, then why are they getting along so well? When did they start texting all the time? Why do they miss each other when they're not texting or visiting? What just happened?? Did Henry just... kiss Alex?! What does that mean? Are they more than friends now? Is Alex gay? Did Alex think he was gay? No, he knows he likes girls...so that means....he's bisexual? Why is Henry ghosting Alex? Does Henry know he's gay himself or was it a mistake? Why is he being seen with a blonde girl? Alex NEEDS to talk to Henry. This was such a fun book and apparently they made it into a movie as well. The last 2 chapters really wind it down nicely. Y'all should definitely check this book out! ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜

Not my bailiwick...
I truly love reading all genres, this just wasn't my bailiwick. I very rarely DNF books, but I just had to call it quits with this one after reading 2/3 of it. And it's not for the reason you may think, so don't @ me! It had absolutely nothing to do with who was in the relationship at all. It was the salacious manner in which the book was written in general. Once they discovered they liked each other, every other scene was an open-door sex scene, and I'm just not into that, no matter who is involved. There was little focus on plot development and too much focus on open-door spice. Close the dang door🙈! On top of that, every other word was F or F...ing word when discussing the deed, and I'm just not there. I know plenty of others loved it, so if open-door spice with a litany of obscenities is your thing, more power to you! Call me old school, call me a prude, but thank you, next.

Entertaining Romance!
I was hooked immediately by the hilarious banter between Alex and Henry, and their deepening honest bond kept me listening without wanting to stop. The balance of family/friends who were supportive and those who were not provided both tension and hope in the story. And the steam between these two was fantastic. The narration was enjoyable, with accents and witty timing that brought the story to life. The politics and history were somewhat idealized but this was a really fun romance.

One of my favorites!!
This book has become one of my all time favorite books!! I recommend it to all my friend I think it’s a book everyone should read at least once, it’s a little slow in the beginning, but once I got past that I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend reading it before watching the movie :)
