Sure the neck can’t hold the shape of a pretzel, but it bends enough to get the job done. The dimming feature is very nice, the dimmest setting is perfect and soothing on my eyes, just the right about of warmth, can’t stress how much I love this light. The warning light for battery recharge is a very nice touch. I appreciate the nice textured finish of the lamp.

Best book light
I bought this book light during a power outage so I could finish my book I had just started and LOVED IT. Its flexible to fit the desired position for your book to cover the entirety of it as well as strong to maintain that position. The price is a little outrageous but if you are a book lover or have one in your life then this is the perfect gift.

Really enjoy
I love that this has multiple brightnesses as sometimes my eyes need less or more light at night. I also love that it is rechargeable as the bigger version of this brand only comes with batteries and I have to replace them about every 2 weeks. Love the flexibility as well

book light needs work
The brightness, neck flexibility and sturdiness is wonderful. However, it wont hold a charge. I have to keep it plugged in to use it which negates the purpose. I came here not to actually review it but to see if I can get another battery, we will see what happens.

Minimal adjustment, bright, needs better clip
The brightness is perfect for well lit, dim and dark rooms it doesn't strain the eyes or feel overly bright. Bought it for my wife but Ive been sneaking it to my side of the bed for my manga and it's a life saver from having to find a comfortable angle and good lighting. I do sometimes have to adjust the light, but I think it holds up very well if you are still while reading, if you were to walk and read or jog and read, I don't think the light can hold position for too long. So if you get overly excited while you read just make sure to not wave the book and light around. I'm gonna buy two more. For the manufacturer: Two things to improve, is the neck stiffness. Have it hold position better. And a clip with a bigger opening, to hold on better on thicker books For buyers: If it doesn't hold position when you set it. You might have a faulty product.

Poor Quality
Very disappointed. Poor light quality even when fully charged and on high setting. The silicon neck does not stay in place when reading. You are always readjusting it. Very annoying especially trying to read the bottom half of a page. Not good at all on hard cover books -a little better on paperbacks.
