Puma shoes glue didn’t hold

These sneakers looked great, and received on Feb 3rd. However, after wearing only 5 days, the glue holding the rubber on the toe began to come loose on Feb 10. Called customer service which was great. They said I can return defective shoes to the store or they can send me a UPS label. I chose the store which wasn’t a good way since the associates didn’t either know or had no authority to issue return for defective merch. No manager for next 3 hours.
