Beautiful but disappointing

Beautiful coat. However, I was not satisfied with the peeling/fading of the pink metallic material. I live in Philadelphia PA and the weather is just getting cold here. I thought this coat would last my 4 year old but the pink metallic is wearing off the sleeves and turning dull grey. I purchased it 09/27/2023 so just a few months ago.
