RL sent old stock (5+ years) and defective item

Ordered Melton peacoat in 12/2023. The item I received is an very old stock and has serious quality issues. It has older Polo logo and shoulder epaulets. As far as I can tell by searching on google, this style is from more than 5 years ago. Add insult to this, the peacoat is missing a lapel button hole and a button under the lapel, both on its right side. Essentially, you won't be able to button up the lapel from either sides. Ralph Lauren needs to put some care and pride into their product's quality at their factory. Frankly this item shouldn't be put into retail circulation.

The Perfect Pea Coat!

My boyfriend saw this coat online and really wanted it, so I ordered it as a Christmas present. Now of course we should have waited till Christmas morning, but needed to see if the fit was right. It was perfect! The fabric is luxurious and warm, and he loves the style and all the details that make it truly elegant.

Not as heavy as it should be.

Nice quality jacket. Not as heavy as you would expect for the price. Lining very thin as well. Rated it 3 stars because it does look very nice. Not very functional as a heavy winter jacket.
