Polo Ralph Loren men’s robe

This is his second one! After several years of daily wear, including heavy starch and ironing because that is how he likes it, the first one is looking a bit raggedy. I’m so pleased that the exact same robe is still available.

Unexpected poor quality

Flimsy and cheap looking after first wash. The belt was extremely wrinkly and thin. Returned.

Well-made robe with very thin cotton fabric.

The robe was very well fabricated, especially the inside of the collar. A previous robe from another company (Nautica) has a collar that is not properly fabricated on the inside (there is excess fabric). That is why I purchased Polo. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. I decided to return. It was extremely large (the sleeves were too long). However, I returned for two major reasons. First, I didn’t realize that the white Polo emblems all over the robe appear so fragile. I was concerned that over time the white appliqués would flake off with repeat washings. Second, the fabric is very thin. I thought that previous reviewers were exaggerating when stating that the fabric is transparent. When holding the fabric up to my window on a sunny day, I could actually see outside. My current robe from Nautica has a better quality cotton that is not as transparent. In summary, the robe is very well fabricated. I would have kept if the robe was made of a better quality fabric.
