RL changed sizes to much smaller fit

My daughter wears RL shorts maid of the same material, that I bought last year, but these pants of the same size are ridiculously small. It said L 12-14, but would barely fit M 10-12. They are narrow and short. Several years ago the RL clothing were a bit on a bigger side of sizing and worked well for us. Sad! Otherwise the pants look nicely made and look fun.
