These are beautiful.

These are much thicker and nicer than I could have imagined. They really stay in place when you put them on the table. The colors in the sugar magnolia set are beautiful on an oak table. I am so happy I chose the pattern I did and highly recommend the Pimpernel brand.

Permanent Placement Only

WAY TOO HEAVY to be bothered with...bought 2 sets, need another hand to help return them. You don't want to be bothered to use and wipe on a daily basis.

Good quality placemats

Medium quality placemats easy to clean. May not be as good and durable like the ones I bought in London 15 years back.

Pimpernel Placements not as good as in the past.

These placemats smelled like chemicals when taken out of the wrapping. They were also not lying flat. The smell went away after a few days. They mostly lie flat now, but still not perfect. I had a set of Pimpernel placemats for almost 20 years that I did not have this issue with.
