CHARM & SOPHISTICATION

The Red Highlander Picnic Basket was purchased as an engagement gift for my son and his fiancée. The couple will be able to utilize the gift time and time again. The basket is charming, housing everything from a cork screw, charcuterie board, knife, wine glasses, plates, utensils as well as a plastic lined table cloth. The gift serves as a reminder that although marriage is not always a picnic or a walk in the park, the intimate and special moments such as a picnic on the beach or in a park, embrace the romance of love and why they chose one another.

Beautiful Picnic Basket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one gorgeous picnic basket which is very thoughfully made to include anything and everything when going on a picnic.. I loved that it also had cheese board and wine bottle opener. Everything used in this basket is made of premium quality be it glass, plates or cheese board. I definitely recommend this product

Beautiful

HUGE disapointment

I have bought this same exact picnic basket about 7 times over for gift for family and friends. I was so excited to see this offered through Macy's, but be warned Picnic Time has cut corners and this basket is a huge disappointment to what it used to be. First the handles have been changed to a cheap braided basket material rather than the sturdy willow it was made with a few years before, so you won't be able to carry it by the handles and this thing is huge and bulky, the handles need to work! There were visible hot glue globs EVERYWHERE and hot glue strings holding the fabric together, making the basket look super cheap. The last and biggest disappointment was they changed how the hinges work and now it sloppily closes pressing the wine glasses into the top edge of the basket. It doesn't open and close well. Huge disappointment. Returning it today.

Beautiful picnic basket

This is an amazing picnic basket, very well done, very classy and retro, I wish I could keep it, but it’s is to heavy for me. That is the only reason why I had to return it. If you take something so big and heavy to a picnic, kind of ruin the purpose.

Pretty Big Picnic Basket

Even though I loved having a picnic basket with the wine glasses and silverware, etc. but this is a very big and heavy basket on its own without any additional item that you would want to carry in a picnic basket so I had to return it.

Great Buy and beautiful

This picnic basket was a great buy and beautiful to boot. I've see similar for a few hundred dollars more and c'mon, it's a picnic basket. Happy with the purchase.
