Pricey but lasted just few days, no returns

Purchased at 3x the price of other belts I usually purchase from discount stores. They last like 3 years, this one lasted 3 days. The hook gave up and was upside down. Unlike the world's largest online company where you can return stuff without any hassle, Macy's have a very different policy. It must have tags and stickers intact, and you cannot say you tried it on you. They will immediately shoot it has been used and cannot be returned. Throughout the years I have dealt with the staff there who are not exactly customer friendly, but this time I have finally called it quits. They should not sell shoddy products at sky high prices and then come up with excuses not to take it back even within the return window.
