Good spring box protector

I recommend it especially if you don't want to look at the color of the mattress. Sometimes the bedspreads don't cover the entire mattress and base of the mattress, so this is a very good option.

Watch that box spring

In the name of getting a better sleep, I opted to cover both the king mattress and king box springs with the Payton. I received it and opened it to find a really good quality with a generous zipper. I decided to do it myself because when you add another person, it gets confusing. Did the mattress first in place, but if I did it again, I would make sure the zipper is accessible when you stand it upright. It wasn't a problem though. The problem came with the box springs. They are skinnier, inflexible and rough around the edges. I thought I would tear through the fabric. Then, when the zipper started to give, I got a clue. DON'T TRY TO SLIDE THIS THING ONTO THE BOX SPRINGS WHILE THEY ARE SIDE BY SIDE. Bring one box spring up a bit. I almost ruined this cover by asking too much of it, expecting it to stretch. It does not. But you should have enough room to work with. Flopped the mattress down in place and zipped it up. Hope I sleep better.

For mattresses 8 inches and under only.

Under no circumstances could this fit a 9 to14n inch mattress. Two of us could not get this on a twin 12 in. Fortunately I had an 8 in mattress that could use a new cover . It fit snugly. A good thing because you don't want a cover that wrinkles or shifts. It said its waterproof. I hope so. The material is very soft. The package says it's breathable machine wash and dry. That doesn't sound water proof to me. Time will tell.
