Buyer beware!

Although the chest and dresser look nice if you like this type of finish and the build quality is good for the price, the size is deceptive. Although both pieces are approximately 19 inches deep the drawers are only 13 inches deep so you are loosing about 5 inches of storage space in each drawer. That's quite a lot of missing storage space. I would have rated this 4 stars otherwise. The Macy's buyers should have noticed this discrepency.

Misleading picture

Quality dresser but the picture is very misleading. The color is much darker. My bedroom is well lit with natural sunlight and the dresser looks dark gray. It is very bulky, and the drawers have a rounded almost bubble-like look to them. I returned immediately and had to pay the restocking fee of 15%, which is a total bummer. I do recommend the white glove delivery, however, there was no assembly needed so I overpaid for that service.

Paint peeling on my Parker 8 drawer dresser

Do not buy this furniture, paint coming off after 18 months.

Finish is Peeling after 18 months!

I’ve had this just over a year and the finish is peeling off. I called Macy’s and they don’t care! Apparently after 1 year there is no warranty, and it was just over a year when I called. I spend thousands a year at Macys’s and that’s the service they provide-none! Beware of this bedroom suite as the finish is peeling on all pieces. Now I will have to pay to have it all refinished. Beautiful but low quality finish.

Beautiful functional dresser

This piece is well made. I like the jewelry velvet like drawer inserts and cedar drawers. For info, the dresser is 19 inches, but the drawers are only 13 1/2 inches deep. Seem short. Not sure why they can't be longer since it is 19 deep. Overall, a nice piece.

Nice size and finish

Nice-sized, not too bulky. Like the cedar-lined drawers. We bought the entire set-bed headboard/footboard and two nightstands. Makes a great room look.
