Trouble getting water up the straw

We just received this water bottle and tried it out today. My foster daughter has been using (and loving) the OXO Tot Transitions cup, and I believe the straws are fairly similar. However, this water bottle seems to be inadequately vented to allow for the water to get up through the straw.

Leakproof straw is wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these cups. It’s the only style water bottle I have boughten for both of my kids for years. The leak proof straw is so valuable and works so well, even when the top lid isn’t closed, and they clean easily. The only negative is the straw cover/top piece can fall off from time to time and it’s hard for kids to get back on themselves.

No replacement straws

I bought 2 of these cups over a year ago, and have been looking for replacement straws ever since. I'm hesitant to use the product as an everyday cup because the straws can't be replaced. The other straw cups from oxo are great. Will the replacement straws ever become available?

No replacement straws

This cup would be great, except OXO doesn’t offer replacement straws for it. The straw is *similar* to the transitions one, but this adventure cup has a cut-out divot thing in the silicone straw.

Terrible quality, not recommended

I bought it on Jan/2023. After first wash the green bottle start crack on surface and loading colour. How come baby bottle having such terrible quality.
