Hair catcher

This is a great addition to our bathtub. It catches the hair instead of it going down the drain to form a clog later. I have tried other similar products but this is the best. It's simple to remove hair and replace catcher.

Amazing!!!

It Works!!

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to install-works better than the original stopper, looks good as well. Haven’t had very long-so can’t speak to how long it will hold up, but seems to be doing its job. The original stopper was a pain to take in & out for cleaning so this one is a great investment.

This would be perfect. It’s well designed, but is too deep for my tub. I was disappointed, but will see if there’s something similar that is shorter and will work in my tub.

Works well

I really like this new hair catch drain protector. It really does collect my long hair. My only complaint is that I have to remove the entire drain protector to let all the water flow down the drain at the end. But that's a small price to pay for a product that works really well.

You need this unless your drain strains

Just what I needed. I have a non-functioning pop up drain that, even when it was working didn’t strain the waste water from the tub. My solution was to replace the pop up part and use the OXO hair catch drain protector when draining the tub and a drain cork while using the bathtub for a bath. The drain protector catches so much hair and fuzz. I clear it every day. It’s easy to pop it out to clean. No more slow drain or clogs. I love it.

Great Design!

This hair catcher/drain protector is not only stylish, it also really works. It catches most, if not all, hair that is shed during showering. (For reference, I’m a female, with long hair, who tends to shed a lot.) I love the two-piece design, which seems to be unique to this one from Oxo, when compared to other hair catchers I’ve seen and tried. This one has a base that remains in the drain at all times, and to remove trapped hair, you only have to remove the center portion. For me, this makes the whole cleaning process so much more tolerable since I don’t have to deal with removing old slimy wet hair AND looking down into an ugly drain lol. Lastly, this drain protector is designed very well, with plenty of drain holes, so your shower water is able to drain as it should. I have tried others that leave you standing in inches of water whether they are clean or not. (*Note: In my experience, if my shower water begins to drain slower, it has only meant there was too much hair trapped on the hair catcher, and the center just needed to be removed and cleaned. Following that, my water has always immediately returned to draining normally.) Regarding how frequently the hair catcher needs to be cleaned: For me, even though I do tend to shed a lot of hair each shower, if I wanted to, I could easily get by with only needing to remove the trapped hair after every 3-4 showers. Buy it!
