Multi- Grater
I really like the modular design. It allows it to fold tightly for easier storage. It opens to an A-frame design and it has solid rubber bottom edges to keep it from moving while using. Each half can be slid out of the handle allowing you to grate over a plate of food if you'd like. It also makes it easier to clean. Very efficient design and well made!

Grater redesign improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent product and unique in that it can be taken apart to store more compactly. It has been redesigned which makes the disassembly process much easier.

Better than the prototype
I had what must have been a prototype of this model for years (or perhaps this is just an improvement on the older version) that came apart at the bottom of the grater. I can see that this model is much more sturdy, as the grating portion is smaller but still large enough. I prefer this foldable model to box graters because I only ever use the large holes for grating. OXO products are consistently utilitarian for serious cooks.
