Would not close when leaf was removed

Beautiful table bit would not close when leaf was removed. So disappointing!

Not as it appears

Beautiful table but missing a piece, the supporting leg. After great effort on my part & on Macy's, the table is being returned. Very disappointed. Seems the manufacturer didn't include what is an important piece of the table. Grateful that I didn't sell my old table because it's coming back to the dining room.
